Few days ago we took the opportunity of an encounter on the GD greenway to share our passion as we exchanged bicycles just for new sensations.
Greenway I said ? This long, narrow piece of land, often used for recreation and pedestrian and bicycle user traffic ?
Yes this is one of my greatest joy since I came back to Zhuhai. Along the coastline of the city, a convenient cycle lane has been build in 2010 combining safety with pleasure and its 220km can take us as far as Guangzhou. The greenway is recognisable by it's logo and has a website (chinese)
Today 6 lines have been built:

For now, I only know a short leg along line 6 from Zhuhai to around TangJiaWan. Composed of field and urban type sections, it brought me to visit some of the best scenic spots in the area:
-yunu zhuhai
-Xiangzhou fishermen's wharf
-yeli dao
-haitiandizhu Sky pillar 海天砥柱
You still can see the polluting plastic bags or wastes from civilization but it's just a matter of time - I hope - until people using the greenway will fully appreciate it's benefits and endorse responsability of it's cleanliness.
Yet, the generous nature has already started to hide our debility underneath leaves and roots. It's definitely a great way to explore the area and I will update you soon about it !

This is really a lovely stuff. I wish you could let me know your next tour in advance.
Unfortunately the weather is very bad these days
